The collection of works below were created during my tenure with the Tri-City Storm. The Storm is a tier-one junior hockey team based in Kearney, Nebraska. They are a member of the United States Hockey League. The collections below are separated by the season in which they were created.
2018-2019 |
Below is the collection of works for the 2018-2019 Tri-City Storm season. These were created primarily with Adobe Photoshop and occasionally Adobe InDesign.
Social Media Graphics
During my first season with the Storm, I created several social media graphics for usage across various platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram. These were used for both promotional and informational purposes in order to connect with fans.
I created this image in Adobe Photoshop for usage on the Storm social media pages. This was created to celebrate two players getting weekly honors from the parent league.

Promotional Materials
During my first season with the Storm, I created several promotional materials for usage in interpersonal marketing. These were used for both promotional and informational purposes in order to connect with both current fans and potential consumers.
I created this flyer in order to promote and explain the various options the organization had for purchasing tickets to the post-season games. I created this flyer in Adobe Photoshop. I used the stock cloud photo, converted it to greyscale, and then applied the text and other elements in order to establish the branding for our playoff materials.
This flyer was created to be handed out to patrons at a community event. I created this in Adobe Photoshop. I utilized a game photo for the background image and then added text and the playoff logo.

During my second season with the Storm, I was tasked with creating a majority of the social media graphics. They were intended for usage across various platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram. These were used for both promotional and informational purposes in order to connect with fans.
This graphic was created in order to promote the new Storm app's release. I created it using Adobe Photoshop. In order to create it, I used the brush tool in Photoshop to create a custom cloud pattern for the background. I then added a photo of the app's home screen, and finally I added the informative texts and icons.
This graphic was created in order to celebrate Storm Alum Jaden Schwartz's win of the Stanley Cup. I created it using Adobe Photoshop. In order to create it, I used the brush tool in Photoshop to create a custom cloud pattern for the overlay. I then added photos of Schwartz from both his junior career as well as his pro career, and finally I added the text.
This graphic was created for usage on the Storm social media pages to promote the 'Dog Night' promotion. I created it using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. In order to create it, I created the background in Photoshop. I then created the paw prints in Photoshop. I then drew the dog and bone in Illustrator and then transferred them to Photoshop. I then added all the text and logos to the image. I finally added a rectangle overlay to the bottom and then put contact information on top.

I was tasked with creating the pocket schedule designs for the 2019-20 season. I created it using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. In order to create, I used photos from throughout the Storm's 20 seasons for the background. I then converted them to greyscale and applied a transparent overlay to even the image's tone. I then applied a custom cloud pattern. I then added text and other elements, such as logos and an arena map.

In order to create, I used photos of players from throughout the Storm's 20 seasons. I removed the backgrounds and then converted them to greyscale. I then applied a custom cloud pattern. Then, I added the schedule months that I created in Illustrator. I then added text and logos. Finally, I added a key and jersey icons that I also created in Illustrator.
